While it is illegal to sell these products in the United States, it is not illegal to sell them elsewhere. Although these products are not very pleasing to taste, they are still edible. The Acme board of directors' reasoned that if their decision were publisized in local newspapers, they could personally justify their decision and, therefore, this course of action is ethically proper.
