He did not have an advanced directive in place, however he didindicate on his license he would like to be an organ donor. His adult daughter knows his wishesto donate his organs, but the man's siblings and mother do not want him to be an organ donor. He currently has a live-in girlfriend who is siding with the siblings. The donation process is beingdelayed for several days because he has an ethical dilemma, and resources are being spent tokeep this man living on a ventilator.
