Case Study: A 93 year old widowed female presents to your office as a new patient accompanied by her son. She has a PMH of osteoporosis, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, COPD, and hypertension. She has a distant history of GI bleed, right humeral fracture. Other than that, she states she is OK, but her doctor retired last year so now she needs a new healthcare provider. She complains today of feeling tired and asks if there is a pill that would give her just "one hour of energy" so she could make her bed and clean her house. Current medications include: furosemide 40 milligrams PO daily, lisinopril 10 milligrams po daily, diltiazem 180 milligrams po daily, warfarin 3 milligrams po daily. NKDA
