Problem

Use the attached document on the discussion board to guide you in interviewing your partner. Ask as many questions as you can. You must be able to communicate; not just ask your partner to fill out the questionnaire. You must be able to interview your classmate. Refer back to the information you learned in the assignment "Researching People: The Collaborative Listener"

Introduction of your object - perhaps using a story s/he has told you about the object.

A. Can you describe your object in detail? What does it look, feel, and smell like?

Introduce the object alone. What is its history (Invention? Early uses? Is it common? When did it become common? - Include at least two quotations from your secondary research sources.)

B. Is the object very like other similar objects? (For example if the object is a baseball bat, is yours different or special for a particular reason? Is it just like all other baseball bats?)

C. Can you tell me the story of how you first got the object? (use details and even dialogue)

D. Can you tell me two specific reasons you chose this object?

E. What else do you think I should know about you and/or your object?
