Step 1: Read (and listen to) T.S. Eliot's famous poem, "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock." Note that, while it is a free verse poem with a form decided entirely by Eliot, it is not entirely free of some of the conventions of formal poetry, like rhyme and meter (just note the trochees in the poem's first line: "Let us go then you and I," or the end rhyme in the first two lines: "I/sky").

Step 2: Discuss the use of meter and rhyme in the poem in 1-2 paragraphs, focusing on at least two of the poem's stanzas.
