Think about an organization that you have worked for or one with which you are very familiar. What does their compensation package look like? Do they offer base pay? If yes, how do they determine what their base pay will be, i.e., do they use job evaluation, market pricing or do they have a pay for knowledge system? Why do you think they chose that method for determining base pay? Do you think this method of determining base pay is the best method for them to follow-why or why not?
