Explain how the following democratic racism discourses: "blaming the victim", "white victimization", "reverse discrimination" and "equal opportunity" can be used to deny the existence of White privilege? Your answer should also include an explanation of what is meant by White privilege. Use examples to support your argument.

2. Globally, Canada's commitment to Multiculturalism has been applauded as a success, allowing diverse ethnic and racialized communities to benefit from Canada's liberal democratic values (i.e. universality, human rights, freedom, equality, pluralism). There are however many who see it differently, pointing out that Multiculturalism has actually functioned to disguise racism and its intersections with other forms of oppression.

They argue that Multiculturalism, has in fact made it difficult to address systemic racism and its intersections in Canada. Explain, your position on these two views and use at least three examples FROM THE COURE MATERIALS to illustrate and support your position.
