Case Study: I would like you to browse the internet for a product you've been thinking about buying. Check out a few product options in the same category. So, a few options for shirts, for shoes, for earrings, or hats - any few products in the same specific category. Add some items to your carts at different sites, but don't buy them go to velonews.com. On the right side of your home page, there is a section called Sponsored. If on velonews.com, look at the ads at the bottom and side of the page. There should be a couple images there.

Question: What are they ads for? Did you look at these products recently, or further in the past? Did you browse the internet for something similar? Right-click on the ad, copy the link address, and paste it into this discussion. This is retargeting. Based on the information in the URL and what you know about the campaign URL tracker, sources, mediums, and channels in Google Analytics, and retargeting what's going on here? What does the information in the URL tell you? Do you think retargeting is good or bad? Why? If you are the digital marketer, why would you like retargeted ads?
