QUESTION 2
Yes the immigrants or children of immigrants settled in European countries split between two loyalties to their European nation state and to their civilization.
It is factual that European nation states seem to have problems in transmitting their values to their own citizens of other races and/or religions, which is a sign of their decreasing power and influence. This is because most of the Europeans are seen as developing new cultures, which they acquire from other communities across the globe.
The cultural differences between the EU and Turkey are the main contributors for the lack of progress in Turkey's entry into the EU. EU will gain from Turkey when Turkey is admitted in the Union; this is because Turkey will reduce the expenditure other EU members bordering it on security and trade barriers will be lifted out thus enabling free trade environment across the continent. This is seen after the Second World War when states regroup to form new coalitions of power of defense and Arab countries unanimously united against the west. This has consistently created suspicion from states within the EU as they treat Turkey as spy to the Arab league.
