Question 1 - What does leadership in analytics mean to you? What would you think are the main areas of focus necessary to achieve success in leading the delivery of an analytical solution to a complicated business problem? I would be interested in knowing your early thoughts at this stage of the class.

Question 2 - Implementation success in analytics requires that we focus on and lead many diverse and varied areas of the enterprise. The management of the multidimensional factors that contribute to implementation success often require correlation among the constructs below. In your view, to what degree do these multidimensional constructs of business analytics success relate to one another and what do you see as the construct that carries the greatest level of importance to successful business analytics implementations?

Question 3 - Direct leadership is face-to-face leadership, where the leader directs the people they are leading, as opposed to strategic leadership, where a leader influences others to act on their own volition. And organizational leadership involves a leader setting goals for the organization. When considering these levels of leadership, along with the decision environment necessary to facilitate the delivery of successful analytics-based solutions to business problems, which level of leadership - direct, organizational, or strategic - has the greatest influence on the decision environment in the business-analytics problem space and why?
