Reflection topics: Topic #1: What does it mean for a person to be sincere? Should a person always express themselves sincerely? If not always, then when is advisable to be sincere? When is it not advisable to be sincere? Moreover, in situations where one should not be sincere, how should they express themselves? As you articulate your position, clearly explain your reasoning for your position, and if appropriate provide a concrete real-life example that illustrates your position.

Topic #2: What would it feel like if we related to our own suffering with more openness and acceptance instead of denial or self-pity? What might it feel like to be tender and caring toward ourselves instead of judgemental and self-recriminating? As you articulate your position, clearly explain your reasoning for your position, and if appropriate provide a concrete real-life example that illustrates your position.
