What does a matter wave truly represent?
Also what is the connection between
Think of matter as very densely packed energy.
The wave function PSI allows one, mathematically, to predict to within a limited certainty, the future status of a system. (We do not have a way to directly observe atomic systems). It contains information about the system.
PSI has no direct physical meaning, it is a precursor to a more useful function called PSI^2. PSI can be positive and negative in sign. PSI^2 however is the probability of finding a particle in space about the atom, and is only positive in value and "lives" in value between 0 and 1.
It is the odds of finding an electron in an atom at a given moment or finding it every at a location in general. This means it gives real physical meaning on position.
A person pulls a 5 kg sled by a rope across (nearly frictionless) ice. The rope (and therefore the force) is oriented 40 degrees above the horizontal. What is the horizontal acceleration of the sled
A 80 g, 33-{rm cm}-long rod hangs vertically on a frictionless, horizontal axle passing by its center. A 11 g ball of clay traveling horizontally at 2.5 m/s hits and sticks to the very bottom tip of the rod.
A skier of mass M started from rest at the top of a frictionless round hill of radius R. as they slide down the side, find at what angle will they leave the sphere
A 653 kg satellite is in acircular orbit about the Earth at a height above the Earth equal tothe Earth's mean radius. Find the gravitational force acting on it
A 1055 kg van, stopped at a traffic light, is hit directly in the rear by a 710 kgcar traveling with a velocity of +2.05m/s. Assume that the transmission of the van is in neutral, the brakes are not being applied, and the collision is elastic. Wha..
A 3.1 micro Coulomb charge hangs from a string midway between two sheets and makes an angle of 10 degrees with the vertical, what is the tension in the cord
Two cars collide at an intersection. Car A, with a mass of 2000 kg , is going from west to east, while car B, of mass 1400 kg , is going from north to south at 13.0 m}/ s. How fast were the enmeshed cars moving just after the collision
How much horizontal force should a sprinter of mass 57.0 exert on the starting blocks to produce this acceleration.

A 1.78 m long wire carrying a current of 1.65 A forms a 5-turn loop in the shape of an equilateral triangle. determine the maximum torque that acts on it
A sphere of mass ofm= 1.40 kg is first placed directly on the plate of an electronic scale. The scale shows 13.73 N as the weight of the object. Calculate the density of the sphere
A square coil, enclosing an area with sides 4.6 cm long, is wrapped with 3,149 turns of wire. What average voltage is induced in the coil
