When we say "reflect" we mean pretend to observe yourself doing the activity: what you were thinking and feeling at the time, and any realisations you had about yourself as a learner.

Editing, adding visuals, and referencing
Using your class work as your draft, type up your paragraph. Make sure to include your in-text citations.

If you came to the Endnote workshop, or you use other reference management software, you might like to do this in Word and snip it to here, because we want in-text and end text references.

Edit it if you like (I honestly don't know how anyone could NOT, but maybe that's just me).

Find an image that adds value to your paragraph (use images from the creative commons, not ones you have to pay for (there is a filter).

Include a reference list at the bottom of your paragraph, that includes all the news articles you cited and the image.

Give your paragraph a title (catchy but no clickbait)

Consider another perspective

Practise this process again; this time you don't have to rush.

(In lieu of cutting up pieces of paper, dot points work quite well for organising ideas so you get good logical flow.)

You can use any of the articles in the LMS for Workshop 9, but it must be related to the 3 topics we looked at in class.

You can change topics or choose a different perspective on the same topic (it doesn't have to be opposite, just different - this is a form of critical analysis: exploring different perspectives).

Write a paragraph to express your thoughts on a topic
Your topic sentence should be a debatable claim
Synthesise evidence from the news articles (at least 3) into your paragraph to support your argument.
Include in-text citations and a reference list.
Add a title and an image (or figure/graph).
