Question 1) It appears that many arguments for psychological egoism beg the question, and so, that psychological egoism could be seen as a non-falsifiable thesis. Explain how two of the arguments for psychological egoism may beg the question. What, then, would it mean to say that psychological egoism is a non-falsifiable thesis, and why would this be a problem?
Question 2) explain the two arguments for moral nihilism. In addition, for each argument, explain at least one potential response to the argument.
Question 3) what do you think is the most compelling threat to morality: psychological egoism, ethical egoism, cultural relativism, nihilism, or the possibility that God doesn't exist? That is, which one is the biggest threat (even if you don't ultimately think it is successful)?
