Case Study: Bicycle crash patient: You have a 31 year old single male admitted following a bicycle-motor vehicle crash. The patient was thrown from the bicycle. He has a fracture of the right humerus, a right tibial fracture, a scalp laceration, and many abrasions to legs and torso. He has a cast on the right lower leg and a surgical repair of the right arm with a large bulky dressing and splint. Physical therapy is going to work with him using a platform walker to support the arm. He can only put toe touch weight on the right leg. The patient is right-handed. He lives alone in an upstairs apartment with no family in town, but several peers from work have been checking on him.

Questions:
