Place-Thought walk
You are to complete a Place-thought walk as a part of your placement requirements.
You are to think about whose country they are on, by Acknowledging the Traditional Owners, take notice of place and be present.
This is Aboriginal land with a long history that continues to echo in the present moment. You are to choose an outdoor area and do a place walk. Look for what is 'speaking to you' what captures your attention, sparks your aesthetic. While walking on this old country-scape think about the idea of "past-present" and "place-thought" as ways of connecting to Aboriginal places.- What do you notice? See? Hear? Feel?- What do you feel drawn to on this walk, what catches your attention?- What non-humans can you notice? What do you see them doing?- How are you being called into "connection with place"?
You can take photos, video and audio to capture this walk. It is best that you do this Place-Thought walk on the site where you will be running the Pop-Up PlaySpaces. For on-site students you can engage with this part of placement when you go to the site for the first time, or beforehand. Remote students need to work out where they are running their Pop-Ups and then do the Place-Thought walk there.
2 paragraphs covering all the information I will also send a you tube video which will better help in understanding These are the photos of place on which place thought walk is to be written Its name is “ HANNAH WATTS CREEK, MELTON” I have also attached a picture with some information about aboriginal people please use it in-------Attached image below
