1. You are the Chief of Police of a 100 officer agency. Your budget has been flat for the past 4 years and you have been unable to get City Hall to give your troops a raise. You are told that there will be money in this years budget and it will be used to outfit all of your officers with Body Cameras instead of raises due to public outcry for happenings in other parts of the country. You have no unjustified use of force with your agency and eel that you keep a fairly tight ship. You know if this happens, your officers will be let down for a 5th year straight. What do you do as Chief? If you are told that this is the only money available and City Hall won't budge, do you fight City Hall or try to pacify your troops?
2. You are the Chief of a 100 officer agency. You have a wide variety of divisions and City Hall wants to cut your budget by 14%. You will be able to save personnel, but you will have to cut Divisions and move those officers to Uniformed Patrol. You have DARE, School Resource, Bicycle Patrol, Marine Patrol, Mounted Patrol, VICE, and SWAT. You will be required to cut 3 of your Divisions. Decide and justify which ones you will cut and which ones you will keep.
