Research Paper about TV Comedy

Requirement: Write 7 Pages with research and clear citation. This will be put in Turnitin so I need it to be done well. Properly cited (MLA) from reputable news sources (Not pop culture websites! Not wikipedia).

Question: Television comedies have been on the decline for much of the last decade but seem to be experiencing a resurgence. What do you believe were the reasons for the decline? What (and what shows) seem to be responsible for the resurgence, and why? What are your predictions for the future of television comedy in terms of form and content? Explain your reasoning by using specific shows and examples.

Use "I Love Lucy" and "All American Girl" as an example for show in the past. Use "Sex in the city" and "Fresh off the boat" for current show. You can use any other show to support as evidence for the paper.
