Overview
This is a big week for our development summary. We will complete our coaching self-assessment (capture strengths and development needs in parts 5 & 6), and our first coaching session and identify what went well and what could be improved (complete part 7), work on our development goal (check off part 4 when completed) and then summarize one key learning for the week (complete part 10). Submit the Development Summary here and send to your learning partners no later than midnight Sunday.
Action Steps:
Question A. Complete your coaching assessment first. Capture your key coaching strengths (no more than 3) in the Development Summary part 5 and key coaching development needs (no more than 3) in part 6.
Question B. Hold your first coaching session (after our class) and receive feedback from the observer. Capture 1 thing that went well in your coaching and 1 thing that you could improve next time (complete part 7).
Question C. You identified a number of action steps to complete your development goal. Make sure you have done your daily activities, your learning triggers, and the action step assigned to this week. Check off part 4, week 3 when it's done.
Question D. What did you learn about your own leadership, your development or the development process? Capture this in Part 10 of your Development Summary.
