It allows us to say something is wrong. The challenge is knowing the difference between useful anger, the kind that can stir revolutions, and the useless kind that can tear us down."

The idea of destruction that leads to creation is a very old idea, and pops up again and again in world myths and religions and philosophies. You recognize this principle even in modern times: A simple example is tearing down an old and worn-out building so you can replace it with a better building. We know that destruction is required (the tearing down of the old building), and even though destruction is usually seen as negative, in this case it is positive, because the tearing-down will lead to better things (a building that better serves its purpose and is up-to-date).
