A local business woman - Shanthi Shamin - agreed to have her image used in the local business district magazine, but with prior approval of all photographs. The advertisements show Shanthi drinking wine in local bars. Shanthi is religious and does not drink alcohol. Recently, Michael, the social media official for the business district magazine tweeted that "Shanthi's favourite pastime is to have a glass wine in local bar." Now, Shanthi - who is an ethics consultant has received several emails from clients indicating they were cancelling their contracts with Shanthi because she clearly lied about her lifestyle - i.e., drinking alcohol. This cancellation of contracts has resulted in $75,000.00 loss in revenues for Shanthi. None of the statements are true, Shanthi does not drink alcohol, and does not go bars, and the magazine published the photos without her approval.
