Case: Mr. Brown, a first-year high school English teacher, is struggling with organizational skills. Often his students say he is late to class, unprepared, and scatterbrained. He seldom checks their homework and rarely gives them tests. Mr. Brown seems to know his material, though, and is knowledgeable about his area of English.
He has a personality that causes him to try to please everyone and has told you he is fine and having no problems. Toward the end of the year, when the department head asks to have the writing folders for the Writing Enhancement program turned in to her, Mr. Brown panics because he is so far behind.
