The goal of this assignment is to choose a film that depicts crime and/or deviance and reflect upon its content as it relates to the field of criminology. No Country for Old Men (2007)

3. Please choose 2-3 specific crimes discussed in section #2 and explain where they would be situated on the "crime and deviance hierarchy" discussed in the first tutorial. Please justify your response by exploring the social harm of the action, the severity of societal response, and the agreement about the norm.

4. Please consider how the film portrays offender(s), victim(s) or the criminal justice system (CJS). Guided by Chapter 3 of your textbook, please choose one offender, victim, or component of our criminal justice system (police, courts, corrections) and discuss how it is "framed" in your film.
