Sabrina, Juan, and Avery are the Early Childhood Educators in a busy toddler room with 15 toddlers. It is 12:10pm and the children have just completed lunch and are preparing for naptime. Sabrina is doing the diaper changing routine in the bathroom, Juan is cleaning up from lunch, and Avery is setting out the cots for the children to nap on. The children are transitioning so some are finishing up their lunches, some are using the bathroom, and others are fed, changed, and cleaned up and ready to lay down. While Mackenzie, 20 months old, is walking toward the cot area and she steps on Xia's special blanket. Xia quickly pulls the blanket, resulting with Mackenzie losing balance and falling on the floor, hitting her temple on the edge of the cot on the way down. Mackenzie is crying.
