Question: Based on the information that Oprah was sexually abused for several years during her childhood and adolescence. She became pregnant but lost her son, her son was born prematurely and died in infancy. Today she is one of the richest and most popular women in the USA. Based on all the abuse that Oprah suffered, traumas that she probably has to face even today, having publicly shared about these episodes that she suffered.

What could be possible reasons that she would now seek help from a clinical psychologist?

Assuming that Oprah still has triggers to her traumas even after all of these years. What could bring up those triggers? How someone would behave when those triggers are active?

What kinds of triggers could it be? What happens when she experiences them like, what does she feel, what are her behaviors (or would any other person who went through the same abuse)? What memories of her childhood stand out for her and feel unresolved? What "symptoms" does she experience that is motivating her to seek treatment at this time?
