Mrs. Smith is an 89-year-old patient who is bedridden and very hard of hearing. Nurse Nancy came into her room at 8am this morning to provide morning care to Mrs. Smith. Nurse Nancy knocked on the door, walked in, and turned on the sink and began washing her hands. While washing her hands she explained to Mrs. Smith that she was going to assist her with getting dressed. When Nurse Nancy was done washing her hands she turned off the water and went over to Mrs. Smith's bed. As Nurse Nancy removed the blankets from Mrs. Smith's body, Mrs. Smith began to cry and shake.
