Based upon the video "Social media's role in monitoring misinformation" I think Social Media should seek to correct or delete discourage misinformation - especially, if its posted from any politicians stating mislead information on a person death or votes. In my opinion, Social media has taken over society, and everyone is entitle to post or state their opinion or facts on whatever they choose to; however, when its mislead information on a person death I think they need to delete this error in respect to their family and friends. In social media, free speech is for all, which means every perspective from both positive and negative side is allowed to have a voice; however it should have it's limits when announcing certain grieving situations.

Why might Trump continue to make claims that are without evidence, Many state its for attention- others state his aids didn't help in correcting these misinformation. Either or, I feel being a President you should post the correct information- and if a mistaken is made an apology is needed to the public. Being a President or person in politician misleading the people causes disruptions and false rumors that will continue to spread and cause unnecessary violence.

I think Social Media should do more to moderate these claims by its world leaders - There should be penalties paid and termination on ones account. Being in this position you should do right by its people, you are to undivided the country and not cause an uproar to a misled information.

Question:

I think the Government should have the power to regulate what content a platform like Twitter allows to be posted by its users. To reiterate, when a politician is stating false misinformation the government should interfere. Social Media has taken control of many things, and at one point we need to form a type of structure to maintain normalcy and respect for one personal life.
