In some cultures, abortions are a commonly accepted method of birth control; some women may undergo several abortions. In other cultures, abortion may be legal yet highly controversial. "Thou shalt not kill," or "Human beings should never kill other human beings," is usually taken to be a moral absolute. In the United States, you may find that many people who take an anti-abortion stance are pro-death penalty. In your discussion response, address the following questions:
