Overview of Event

Based on the Situational Analysis summarise your revised event by providing the following information:

i. The Event Objectives;

ii. Event Concept (to satisfy the objectives);

iii. Event Overview; Details of Event Name, Event Type;

iv. Target Market (demographics, geographic and psychographic identification);

v. Expected number of participants and/or spectators; and,

vi. Description of the event in terms of: Chosen Location/Venue, Date and Duration, Timing, Theme, Decor, Layout, Seating, Entertainment, Lighting, Sound.

In this Overview of Event you are required to indicate what changes you have made to the event since you developed your original Event Bid which reflects aspects of the Situational Analysis, supported by reference to academic sources (Van Der Wage, Chpt 16; Allen, Chpt 12).

To maximise the positive intangible legacy opportunities for your individual event, explain the required actions and planning in relation to two (2) or more of the following:

i. Community Engagement and Social Cohesion;

ii. Skill Development and Capacity Building;
