Assignment
Your team has analyzed an organization to try and improve its performance. What changes in behavior does your team recommend to make the organization a high performer?
In this unit, you will conclude your analysis of your Client Organization. For this Assignment, you will be focusing on the effectiveness portion of the "Model for Diagnosing Individual and Group Behavior" (Harrison, p. 56, Figure 3.1). Use the "Action Model for Group Task Performance" (Harrison text, pp. 61-64) to assist with diagnosis and intervention.
Criteria
- Write a 5-7 page paper (plus title and reference pages)
- Analyzing the following:
o The effectiveness of your Client Organization's group level behavior
o Using the "Action Model", determine which (if any) of the organizational and group conditions are posing a roadblock to effective group performance or may be able to serve as a change lever for improvement.
o Include your team recommendations- they are a critical component of your overall analysis.
- Write in a clear and organized manner and include section headings.
- The paper should have a minimum of three cited and referenced academically credible sources from outside of the course materials- three of which must be peer reviewed (scholarly) journal articles. Your sources should follow proper APAformat.
