Problem: Americans do not elect presidents using a direct vote at the national level. Instead, per the U.S. Constitution, presidents are elected by the Electoral College as outlined. Given that amending the Constitution is highly unlikely, what changes can be made at the state level to make electing presidents more efficient, if any at all? Is the electoral process sufficient as is? Why or why not?
