Alamide is a lethal chemical that disrupts ATP production by the cell. Symptoms of alamide poising include muscle weakness, fatigue, dizziness and confusion.  Liquid, gaseous or solid alamide can enter the body through inhalation, ingestion or absorption through the eyes and skin. Inhalation can lead to death in as quickly as 10 minutes and the lethal dose for ingestion is as little as 2 teaspoons.
