3) In her moment of crisis, Brandy gets some words of advice from a legal mentor, "To save those in hell, you have to go to hell..." In your opinion what is the meaning behind this advice? What is Brandy's mentor trying to say? Explain.
4) During the course of the film, Brandy's father offers her some advice about failure. "Failure is when you stop dreaming..." What do you think he is trying to tell Brandy and how might it relate to her work as a public defender? Explain.
5) What causes Brandy to question her role as a public defender? Explain.
6) What is the final verdict in Brandy's case and how does it, in a way, help her confidence about her work as a public defender? Explain.
