Now, think of something that you can plan to do in the future, when you own your own home or are running a business, or just have more funds available. What do you hope to do in the future? When you set definite plans, these things can become a reality. For example, in the past, my goals included getting solar panels and a more efficient car. Now, I've reached those goals, next I'd like to move to an electric vehicle. I don't really need a new car yet, so this goal isn't immediate. But it is part of my long-term plan.
