Problem I. Who was the mole inside the White House who kept feeding the Radical Republicans in Congress the "inside scoop" on what was being said and done pretty much before anyone else knew about those things?

Problem II. we as a nation value and stress the value of obedience to laws, morals, etc., and most of the time that is a good thing but aren't there times when a law is so "wrong" or "morally objectionable" that one's beliefs require that a person needs to practice breaking or deviating their behavior because of that particular law. So, do you all think that the Fugitive Slave Law is one of those laws? Thoughts?
