Assignment:

Fatima is aged 52 and has currently lost her casual role within retail. Fatima had been a stay at home mum for most of her adult life but when her husband passed away she applied to her local supermarket and has been working there as a casual retail assistant for the last 6 years. She is keen to find more permanent work and is happy to consider other industries. While working for her local supermarket she worked all departments, customer service, merchandising, payroll and some recruitment and training of new staff. Fatima is happy to study to expand her job prospects as she enjoyed the office-based part of her last job.

a) What methods did you use to establish rapport/trust with the participant
