Discussion

At the bottom is my answer, but I need it to be adjusted to answer the questions.

For this discussion, think of an entertaining story of a supervisor or coworker that was very difficult to work with and caused you a lot of difficulty. Choose an incident that you think would be the most entertaining to your classmates. But in addition to being entertaining, also include some diagnosis of your coworker or supervisor's Emotional Intelligence. What aspect of Emotional Intelligence do you think this person lacked the most? How did this shortcoming lead to the difficulties you faced with this person? Is there anything you could learn from this experience that might help you improve your own Emotional Intelligence?

There is a coworker within the company that has 18 years in. He is obnoxious, lazy, and rude. Majority of the time no one wants to team up with him because of his behavior. In my type of business, you have no choice but to work with the person if you were called out to. I work in the transportation system for the rail road. One day I was called out to work with this fella that always has a negative vibe. He was sitting on a bench in front of the office building with his eyes closed. I came outside with one of the inexperience young mangers to talk about our daily work and safety briefing. I say inexperience, because this young manager never had hands on in what we do in transportation. All he has is a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. Well when we came out, this young manager told my partner to "wake up there is no sleeping out here while you are on duty." My partner opened his eyes and told the young manager that he was not sleeping. The young manager told him that he saw him with his eyes closed. My partner replied, "you see me with my boots on, don't mean that I'm walking." The young manager answered your right and left it alone.
