Question: To put things in perspective, we have seen that due to increasing demand for certain products in the market, lets take a look at "paper consumption", not only is paper consumed in the B2C market but is in abundant usage as well in the B2B market, in an article by Statista.com it was calculated that in the year 2021 the consumption for paper was at a staggering 408 million metric ton and for reference that weighs more than the eiffel tower that stands at 10,100 tons, to add to these they have also projected that paper consumption will see a steady growth from there on out. With more consumption in the horizon for a basic product, more and more trees will be needed by paper manufacturers to meet such demand in the market. This steady increase in demand may not be sustainable for our environment for the reason that trees mature after a period of 40 years and some of them might need 80 to 120 years.

What are your thoughts on this? Can you give further examples where consumption is at large? What could happen if we reach a point where we have depleted our resources?
