Part 1: Gain permission to interview three clients regarding their social and cultural needs.
For this task, you are required to select three clients (for Part A and Part B) that you are currently working with as part of your job role. Each client must come from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will be supervised at all times during the work. Make sure that you do not disclose any personal information that would identify your clients - do not use names, contact information or any other identifying information.
Part A requires you to interview each client about their experience of living within the community. Use the Interview Form template provided (once for each client) and document their responses.

Client Interview Form - Part A
Describe your experience of living within an Australian society.
What influences the way you live in the community?
What are your support groups? In what ways have they helped you?
Describe your own experiences of being discriminated against.
Explain the problems you have encountered with accessing services or treatment
Part 2: Recommend Programs and Services
After you have interviewed each of all 3 clients, you will need to do some research and find services and/or programs in WA that would benefit each.
The services or programs recommended must address each client's problem areas as identified during their interview in Part A. They must also be accessible to the client.
Try and find at least two services for each client.
Report your findings by answering the following questions:
Client 1. What types of services or support can you recommend for this client?
Client 1. What are the objectives of each service or program?
Client 1. How will each program or service help the client?
Client 1. Provide an overview of next steps for each service or program to be implemented.
(Answer all the above questions for each of the 3 clients. it should be a total of 12 answers)
PART C
Client Interview Form - Part C
Interview one client regarding the effectiveness of their service or program.
For this task you will need to work with one client.
This client must be different to those you worked with in Parts A and B of this assessment.
Your client must be someone you have worked with to help them use a program or service.
The purpose of this task is to review how effective their service or program is.
You will do this by interviewing the client. Ask the client the questions in the template attached, and capture their responses and feedback. You should consider the client's cultural and social factors when reviewing their feedback.

What are the benefits of this service or program?
How has the service or program been monitored and reviewed in the past?
How is the service or program effective? Explain your answer, giving examples to support it.

What would you like to see improved?
Based on the responses you were given during this interview, write down what you would do to improve future services for this person, considering their social and cultural factors.
