A certain professor holds consulting hours for two hours each day. Three types of people need to see this professor: female students, other facility, and male students. Many students complain that the queue discipline is not FCFS but a priority discipline with the priority scheme as follows: (1) female students, (2) other faculty members, and (3) male students. The conference time has been analyzed using historical data and has been found to be normally distributed, with a mean of 0.08 hour and a variance of 0.0667 (hour)2. People arrive at the professor's office in a Poisson manner (that is, no appointments are allowed during consulting hours). The arrival rate for female students is three per hour. The arrival rates for faculty members and male students are two and four per hour, respectively. Assuming an infinite queue and calling population, what are the steady-state queuing statistics?
