Case Extract: Workplace Scenario

At the annual HR Conference in your state, several vendors have booths displaying their HRIS products. The HR Analyst in your department finds the information useful, particularly because there has been discussion about updating your organizations Human Resource Information System. At the end of the Conference, the HR Analyst has decided which HRIS would be best for your organization, and has made a tentative commitment to the vendor about purchasing the system. In discussion with the HR Manager however, the Manager expresses concern about the system selected and indicates that it may be best to engage in a needs analysis before proceeding to purchase.

Questions: Given the details provided in the case above and your knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle, please respond to the following questions:
