Choose a moment from Malcolm Little's childhood or early life and describe why it mattered, or why it moved you. What are the social/cultural relevancies of his experience in our times? In what ways have you experienced a similar injury or witnessed it. Lastly, how do you think that event or experience shaped his formation, decision making, and future? i.e. the violent loss of his family and being forced into foster care at such a young age, or the destruction of his dreams in the classroom by the racism exerted by his teacher, etc.
