Problem: You've been at your agency for several years and you're considered a well respected member of your team. The CEO has communicated often that the organization is considering expanding its continuum of services by offering a new evidenced based service (EBS). To your surprise the CEO picks you to lead the team to recommend one of three EBS she is considering. The organization's board of directors meets in 3 months, and she wants to include the recommendation in her report, so funds can be allocated to the new program. The other members of the team include the agency psychologist, the organization accountant, a behavioral specialist, a clinical supervisor, a caseworker and yourself. The team represents the diversity of the organization and the community and you know and have worked with each member. The CEO has instructed everyone to free up some time for this work. Reflecting on what we have covered so far in the text, readings and lectures, outline in three pages or less, your design for leading this team. Consider how will you lead the committee to reach a decision. What are the things you need to get this team up and running? What are the questions the team will need to answer?
