In essay form, using headings to identify each section, and in your own words, explain your personal philosophy using the same categories we focussed on during class. These categories are:

1. Purpose - What are the purposes of early childhood education?

2. Learning Theory - How do children learn?

3. Environment - Under what physical / environmental conditions do children learn best?

4. Curriculum - What should children be taught? How should children be taught?

5. Role of the Teacher - What makes a good teacher (qualities and behaviours)?

6. Guidance - What child guidance techniques should be used?
