Assignment:

Should the United States make English the country's official language and stop providing government documents and education in other languages, such as Spanish or Portuguese or Mandarin or French, which saves money for the government and private industry? What are the pros and cons of a single national language? Are those countries that have a single national language are better off? Is it problematic? What should the USA be doing? Can we return to being a "Melting Pot" or remain as individual salad bowls (ethnic groups) that are now entrenched to retain forever distinct languages and cultures in the USA? Is this good for our Nationality!!!
