Description of the Problem.

An economic recession occurred in the country where the organization operates, which created financial difficulties for the organization. Although the sales level dropped drastically because a large ratio of its customers sought to reduce their spending, there was a high increase in the prices of raw materials. The organization soon ran into loss because they couldn't afford to increase their prices given the low sales level, this led to late payment of suppliers, employees as well as former employees.

Over time, the organization's brand image was negatively affected and it is finding it difficult to retain its staff, so much that it lost 45% of its workforce in the last year. This is affecting operations due to lack of continuity and the organization is constantly recruiting and training.

The restaurant, consequently, needs to develop employee retention strategies to reduce employee turnover whilst improving its brand image. The goal is to maintain 98% of the current workforce over the next six months.
