Industry Project: Real -world partnership and project design
Question 1: How can IPAA WA attract, support and represent the broad range of employees with various professional skills that exist within the WA public sector as a professional body for the whole public service (i.e. teachers, lawyers, engineers, ICI practitioners, public policy practitioners, environmental officers, Procurement specialists etc.)?
Question 2: What are the professional development needs, in relation to currently (self) identified capability deficiencies, for the WA public sector, and how can IPAA WA support and service this need in a valuable way?
1. Project title (group) and subtitle (individual) - Identify a working title for the whole project, and the subtitle will be the working title of your contribution within the overall project.
2. Research problem (group) - identify the problem the project will be addressing and explain its significance.
3. Research aims and objectives (individual) - Identify and outline the aims and objectives of your research (this section must demonstrate a connection to the problem and your individual contribution). For example: how does your research fit into the broader objectives of the group project.
4. Research method (individual) - identify your research method (i.e. how will you undertake your research, what resources will be required?) and explain its relevance to achieving your project aims and objectives.
5. Literature (individual) - Identify and outline relevant literature and other source materials to inform the project. In identifying relevant literature, you will need to explain the key issues within your research area and identify the dominant perspectives (this also includes any contested spaces within the research area).
6. Provisional reference list (individual) - provide a list of at least 8 sources that you will use to inform your research project.
