Implement and monitor work health and safety practices(you can make a choice) on organisation

Conduct some research on a specific organisation in the tourism, travel, hospitality or events business industry to answers the following questions. This may be an organisation at which you work, have previously worked, or would like to work in:

a. Discuss the full content of WHS policies and procedures, especially in relation to consultation, hazard identification, risk assessment and reporting documents.

b. What are the methods used in the workplace for WHS consultation, hazard identification and risk assessment?

c. What options have been provided for training in relation to:

i. Coaching or mentoring employees in safe work practices.

ii. Formal training available in safe work practices.

d. What are the procedures in place for risk control?

e. What in involved in induction in regard to WHS policy and procedure?

f. Is there a WHS representative or a committee? Please discuss.

g. How does the workplace use and provide information, fact sheets and signage to ensure safe work practices?

h. Identify the location of the first aid kit and emergency evacuation plan.

i. Briefly discuss workplace policies in relation to the overall approach of the organisation to WHS.

j. Identify and briefly discuss at least four of the various procedures in place for WHS.

k. Identify and discuss any specific risk control measures that are relevant to the chosen workplace.

l. Are there any specific regulations and codes of practice that relate to the organisation and industry?
