The overpressure in a fire hose of diameter 6.4 cm is 3.5E+5 N/m^2 and the speed of flow is 4.0 m/s. The fire hose ends in a metal tip of diameter 2.5 cm positioned 4.0 m above a level ground. What are the pressure and velocity of the water in the tip? What is the speed of the water just outside of the tip of the fire house? I did this incorrectly, I think maybe I started right because he gave my partial credit.
