Pew Center's Internet and American Life Project recently reported that the average Facebook user has 245 friends.8 This distribution only takes integer values, so it is certainly not Normal. We'll also assume that it is skewed to the right with a standard deviation σ = 115. Consider an SRS of 30 Facebook users.
